WHAT PEOPLE SAY ABOUT US

Anaemia is a condition in which haemoglobin or red blood cells count in the blood is lower than the normal due to the deficiency in several nutrients like iron, folic acid and vitamin B12. It affects infants, children, men and women of all ages. It is also caused due to diseases like malaria and dengue. If left untreated, it may cause cancers, ulcers, gastritis and haemorrhoids.

According to the India Spend analysis, the root cause of disability in India for almost 10 years now, is Anemia. Jaipur, the pink city is fast turning into a hub for large section of anaemics. Jaipur’s total population as of 2018 is 3 million out of which 70% are women suffering from anaemia, 36.7% children are under-weight and 60.3% are anaemic, as per a study conducted by the Rajasthan’s state health department and the national family health survey (NFHS).

Pale skin, lips, weakness, low blood pressure and unusual food cravings are some of the symptoms seen in case of adults. Early introduction of inappropriate substitutes of breast milk, late introduction to iron-rich foods, poor sanitation, unsafe drinking water are some of the symptoms seen children.

You will have a complete blood count (CBC) to confirm anaemia and to see how severe it is. Also, you will need other blood tests like percentage of red blood cells in total volume of blood, serum ferritin and haemoglobin to determine the type of anemia.

An anemic person has a lower immunity which in turn results in slow brain development. Iron-deficiency causes death in pregnant women. Take up the anemic profile tests to know if your iron-deficient or not!

Anaemia is a blood disorder. When there is less haemoglobin, the blood finds difficulty in carrying oxygen to all the parts of the body which leads to deviations from the normal range and therefore, these tests helps in checking the iron deficiency.

The Anemia test is available in the form of packages which mainly includes the study of blood and its parameters like Iron deficiency, serum ferritin, complete Hemogram, and more. The costs of packages vary from one diagnostic center to the other. The Anemia test package costs anywhere from Rs.2310 to Rs 4500.

You can also take separate parameters test like Iron deficiency test and ferritin blood test. The tests are priced accordingly. The iron-deficient test costs vary anywhere in between Rs 400 to Rs 700. And, The s-ferritin blood test costs around Rs. 650 depending on the type of diagnostic center.
